​Blue Speckle Ceramics is the creative practice of Blanka Kveton, a ceramic artist originally from the Czech Republic, with a background in graphic design and a lifelong love of creativity.

After spending decades in London, Blanka discovered ceramics as a way to step away from the computer and work with her hands. What began as a creative outlet gradually grew into a passion, bringing together her love of design with the tactile and unpredictable nature of clay.

Blanka’s work explores colour, shape, pattern and texture, embracing the natural qualities of clay and the beauty of handmade objects. Each piece is individually made and finished by hand, with subtle variations and imperfections that make it unique.

Now based in Australia, Blanka continues to develop her own ceramic practice while sharing her love of clay through Gumnut Studio, the garden pottery studio she founded, offering small-group classes and hands-on workshops.
